Abstract

This paper proposes an improved write-piggybacking technique called hybrid write-piggybacking, and evaluates its performance. The performance of the proposed hybrid write-piggybacking technique if done through a trace-driven simulation using a model of a real disk system. The results of simulation show that the proposed hybrid write-piggybacking has better performance compared to the original write-piggybacking technique.
